ISN presence at Renal Week 2010
Join us on November 20, 2010 in Denver, Colorado as ISN and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) come together for a two-hour symposium entitled Towards Global Kidney Health. As part of ASN Renal Week, this ISN/ASN joint symposium aims to help participants discuss the challenges they face when providing training and care for nephrologists and kidney disease patients worldwide. For Fellows, it will be an especially important chance to meet other US Fellows.Talks will be moderated by Rashad S. Barsoum and M. K. Mani and will include the lectures on the following topics:- Vivekanand Jha: Economics of ESRD in Developing Countries- Norberto Perico: Early Detection and Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease in Resource Poor Regions- Saraladevi Naicker: The Challenge of Managing Chronic Kidney Disease in Sub-Saharan Africa- William G. Couser: Partnerships between Academic Centers in Developed and Developing Countries: ISN Sister Center and FellowshipThis year, Renal Week activities take place in the Mile High city from November 16 to 21, 2010. As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, ISN will also hold an exhibition booth at this event.
