Sun Sentinel: One quarter of kidney dialysis centers in South Florida will have their Medicare payments cut next year because they did not meet medical care standards under a new federal program. Of about 100 dialysis centers in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties, 25 will be hit with payment penalties of up to 2 percent, Medicare officials said. |
