... http://www.nature.com/isn/news/soc_announ/fullview.html?content_id=75119 British Renal Society and Renal Association Conference 2010 This May, the British Renal Society (BRS) and the Renal Association (RA) are joining forces for a comprehensive forum to discuss all aspects of kidney care and kidney research as well as celebrate 60 years of the RA. ISN is set to take part in the festivities and has organized a session on Wednesday May 19, 2010 in Manchester, UK. It will focus on “The Global Challenge of Nephrology - What can the UK do?”.Former ISN Fellows and SRC participants who recently graduated from the program will talk about their experiences. SRC Chair Paul Harden will also give an overview of the SRC Program and highlight a successful partnership between Cardiff and Nanjing. Albert Ong and John Feehally will review ISN’s achievements and communicate the Society’s vision for the future.The aim of this session is to put forward international work opportunities for UK nephrology especially through partnerships with ISN. It is also a chance to promote ISN membership among RA members. Representatives from the ISN Disaster Relief Task Force will also participate in the talks and focus on projects they have carried out in regions struck by natural disasters this year.
